I combine shipping on multiple auctions, so if you’re a collector, bid on everything to get an even better deal, and then bid again on each piece for good measure!
Why I’m selling this: My mother no longer wants this, and while I can appreciate the skill involved, I cannot get past the peculiar shapes of the animals necessitated by the rocks used.  I’m sure someone else will appreciate these much more than I, and I will appreciate the money!
Description: This is a piece of California rock art that my mother purchased from a local artist, Kathy in Pacific Grove.  I think my mother met her at a craft fair and subsequently had many private purchases from her, including some pieces specially requested that would otherwise have never been made.  The detail is exquisite, although the shape doesn’t really work very well on this one; this rabbit is definitely rectangular, as if he had been stuffed into a glass box for several days and had only just been extracted from it.  The bottom is unpainted and signed in black pen.
This painted rock has no defects.
Specifications: 1 7/8″ across (nose to tail), 1 1/4″ wide (measured at base), 1 1/4″ tall (lump in back is highest point), 75.7g
